Annapurna panaroma trek
Annapurna Panaroma trek is a trek route famous for witnessing the enthralling view of Annapurna mountain chain. This is ideal for the trekkers who loves trekking but feels exhausted and altitude sick in long treks. This Trek is a moderate grade trekking where one can witness the majestic sunset and sunrise gloriously painting the mountain range with tint of orange. Trekkers will get a chance to observe different culture and traditions of the Himalayan people. They can visit Stupas, monasteries and see the architecture of rocky mountain region.

Day 01 Arrive At Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu
You may arrive at the airport at any time. One of Yeti’s representatives will be there waiting for you and will greet you upon your arrival. You will then be transferred to your hotel and further plans and programs of the trek will be explained to you. As there are no further planned activities for the day, you may relax at the hotel for the remainder of time. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour
You would be having a tour of the Kathmandu Valley today. You would be visiting the sites that are listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites List, starting from the holy temple of Pashupatinath. It is one of the most sacred temples for the Hindu people and is located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. You can sometimes see the cremation ceremony being performed at the banks of the river as well. On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, the temple sees the visit of thousands of devotees. Next on the tour is the Kathmandu Durbar Square. You would be able to look at intricate carvings and opulent Nepali architecture on old Palaces, temples, deities and statues in the Durbar Square area. The site does well to reflect Nepal’s rich monarchial days of the past. Moving on to the next site, you would be visiting the Swayambhunath temple. Located atop a hill west of the city, Swayambhunath is a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site. The stupa consists of a dome at the base and a cubical structure painted with the all-knowing peaceful eyes of Buddha looking in four directions. The stupa houses many artifacts inside and the golden tiers above the pentagonal Toran are majestic to look at. And lastly on the tour is a visit to the Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world. After the Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour, you would be returning back to your Hotel. Day 03 Drive To Pokhara From Kathmandu (910m/2,984ft), Duration: 6 Hours
You will be departing from Kathmandu today. The drive to Pokhara takes around 6 hours and is filled with scenes of rice terrace farms and hills covered with jade woodlands. Rocky gorges, ebullient rivers, green valleys and the typical rustic life of rural Nepal presents a pretty picture for the drive. The Lake-side city of Pokhara is famous for its adventure sports and various water-bodies. Views of peaks like Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre as well as the five mountains of Annapurna can be seen from Pokhara. You can have a boat ride on the pristine waters of the Fewa Lake as well once you arrive there. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara, breakfast included.
Day 04 Pokhara To Tikhedhunga (1,570m/5,150ft), Duration: 4 Hours
You will follow a trail that takes you to Tikhedhunga today. After driving to Nayapul (42 km) via a private vehicle, you will be trekking on a trail that leads to today’s destination. This is the first day of the trek and it is relatively short and easy. You would also be passing through the village of Lumle while on the trail. As you walk further on, you will reach the prosperous settlement of Birethanti. It is located on the union point of the Burundi and the Modi rivers. There are a number of teahouses here and many shops. Walking through beautiful bamboo forests, you will be passing large cascades of waterfalls. Furthermore, you will climb gradually up besides the valley to reach the village of Hille lying at the height of 1,495 meters. With a short ascend from Hille, you will reach Tikhedhunga. Day 05 Tikhedhunga To Ghorepani (2,850m/9,348ft), Duration: 7 Hours
Leaving Tikhedhunga behind, you will walk on a passing steep climb to reach Ulleri on this day. Ulleri is a big Magar village located at the height of 2,070 meters. After an hour’s walk from Ulleri, you will arrive at a resting point. The track ascends slightly from this point and you will be passing through oak and rhododendron woodlands until you reach Banthanti. It is located on an altitude of 2,250 meters. From here, walking further on- you will reach the Nangethanti village at 2,460 meters. An hour’s walk from Nangethanti, you will reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani is a conserved area that holds the largest rhododendron woods. If you are trekking on the best season of the year, you can see the area enveloped in snow, which makes for an ethereal sight. Spectacular views of Mountains like Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Annapurna I (8091m), Nilgiri (6940m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and more can be seen from Ghorepani. Day 06 Hike Up To Poon Hill And Onto Tadapani (2,610m/8,560ft), Duration: 7-8 Hours
This is the most important day of the Annapurna Panorama Trek. You will begin today by waking up early in the morning to reach Poon Hill to witness a moment that seems dream-like. The first rays of the rising sun from amidst the Annapurna Mountains changes the tincture of the peaks from periwinkle to a cascade of molten gold and burning ember. A wide and spectacular view of the Annapurna Mountains like the Dhaulagiri Peak, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV and the Nilgiri Peak, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli Himal, Lamjung Peak, Machhapuchhre Mountain and many more can be seen. After spending time at the hill taking pictures, you will then return back to Ghorepani. From here, you will trek to Tadapani, walking on trails that pass through verdant rhododendron woods. If you are trekking in the spring, you can notice 15 different species of rhododendrons blooming in contrasting colors before reaching Tadapani. You can also see views of the Annapurna south, Machhapuchhre and Hiunchuli from Tadapani as well. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Tadapani, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 07 Tadapani To Ghandruk (1,950m/6,396ft), Duration: 3 Hours
From Tadapani, you will be trekking to the village of Ghandruk today. Ghandruk lies at an altitude of 1950 meters. You will walk through woodlands and after walking for an approximate of 3 hours, you will reach Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a dainty village occupied by houses made up of stones and is mostly occupied by Gurung inhabitants. From Ghandruk, you can see soaring views of Mount Fish-Tail, Hiunchuli Himal, the Annapurna South and many more. Here, you can explore the village and can visit the Gurung Museum as well. It provides a better understanding of the Gurung culture and tradition. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Ghandruk, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 08 Ghandruk To Pokhara (910m/2,984ft), Duration: 5 Hours
You will move ahead from Ghandruk to Nayapul on this day, and then drive back to Pokhara. On the way, you will be descending down to the village of Birethanti. You can also stroll on the stony staircase and pass by various terrace farms brimming with rice plantations to reach the Modi river valley. From Birethanti, it takes around an hour to reach Nayapul. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara, breakfast included.
Day 09 Pokhara To Kathmandu
You will drive back to Kathmandu today. On the way, from the left side of the vehicle, you can see sights of river gorges, mountains, rustic settlements and terraces. At Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the hotel where you can proceed to relax. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu, breakfast included.
Day 10 Farewell
Approximately three hours before your flight, you will be transferred to the airport by one of Yeti’s representatives from where you will depart, hopefully with beautiful memories of the trek.
